General Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7): GAD-7 Score
The GAD-7 is a 7-item questionnaire used to assess the severity of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in adults. The score is based on the responses to seven questions about the frequency of common anxiety symptoms over the past two weeks.

Why I created this challenge:
Living with anxiety can be overwhelming, affecting both mental and physical health. Academic research consistently shows that sleep quality is closely linked to anxiety levels. On social media, there's a lot of buzz about sleep tracking devices, with many users swearing by their effectiveness. The Withings Sleep Mat is one such product that has gained popularity for its ability to monitor sleep patterns comprehensively. By combining scholarly insights with real-world user experiences, we aim to see if using this device can genuinely reduce anxiety as measured by the General Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) scale. It’s crucial to run this study to provide concrete evidence and help others manage anxiety more effectively.
My Objective for You:
Through the "Just something Quick (Clone)" challenge, you will track your sleep using the Withings Sleep Mat and observe how it influences your anxiety levels. Our goal is to provide you with actionable insights and tools to improve your mental well-being, measured by the GAD-7 scale, over 33 days.
Aims & Objectives:
The aim is to determine if consistent use of the Withings Sleep Mat can reduce anxiety levels as measured by the GAD-7 scale. Our objective is to monitor changes from baseline to the endpoint at 33 days.
Significance & Impact:
This challenge could significantly impact how individuals manage their anxiety through improved sleep patterns. Expected outcomes include reduced anxiety levels and better sleep quality. However, individual results may vary, and the study's limitations include self-reporting biases and the influence of external factors on sleep and anxiety.
