Your Rights as a Participant

How to Leave the Study
To leave the study, go to your Profile page, click "Your Challenges" and then click "leave." Please remember your join fee is not refundable. This payment is important to keep the study experience sound for other participants.
Risks and Benefits
Participation in this study may expose you to some risks, such as discomfort from reflecting on personal issues during challenges. However, the potential benefits include gaining new skills and insights which could positively impact your personal and professional life. Should you face any emotional distress, consult with a specialist like a doctor or life coach. In case of severe distress, including suicidal thoughts, immediately contact the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 988. Remember, this study does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment, and you should check with your insurance provider regarding coverage for research-related injuries.
What to do if you have an adverse event or medical emergency
If you experience any medical emergencies or adverse events during the study, seek local medical care immediately. After receiving care, please report the incident to help@efforia.com for documentation and follow-up.
